WestJet Airlines, the second-largest Canadian carrier, has approved two new winter routes to the resort town of Tulum, Mexico.

With this move, the WestJet Group becomes the largest Canadian flight provider to sun hotspots in winter 2024.

“We continue to offer the most robust and affordable coast-to-coast schedule, fine-tuned to meet the needs of Canadian travelers,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.

The new flights are scheduled to depart from Calgary and Toronto to Tulum Felipe Carillo International Airport (TQO) starting November 9, 2024. The service will be available until April 27, 2025.

To make its offer even more attractive, the carrier also decided to offer packages to 35 resorts located near Tulum airport.
