Kings Of Leon have announced a bonus version of their upcoming album that will include live tracks from their huge 2023 shows in Wrexham.
Announcing the release on social media on Friday (April 26), ‘Can We Please Have Fun (Live in Wrexham Edition)’ will be available in limited edition 2CD form, as well as dual colour cassette. You can find out more and buy yours here.
The album, the band’s ninth in total, is due out on May 10, and you can pre-order that here.
The ‘Live in Wrexham’ edition will include an extra seven tracks, all taken from the two massive shows the band played at Wrexham AFC’s stadium, the Racecourse Ground, in May last year.

The Welsh football club is famously now owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, and the pair hyped up the shows beforehand with a comic video for St. David’s Day in which they introduced a “traditional Welsh song”, before cutting to a clip of ‘Use Somebody’.
The bonus live tracks will be ‘Crawl’, ‘King of the Rodeo’, ‘Revelry’, ‘On Call’, ‘Find Me’, ‘Pyro’ and ‘Cold Desert’.
Last week, the Nashville band shared the latest taste of the new album in the form of ‘Nothing To Do’. That followed on from previous singles ‘Split Screen’ and ‘Mustang’.
The upcoming album – the follow-up to 2021’s ‘When You See Yourself’ – has been produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon. Followill recently explained that he felt “completely fulfilled” with the LP. He also said in a statement that it was “the most enjoyable record [he has] ever been a part of”.
Kings Of Leon are set to embark on a run of UK/Ireland and North American tour dates later this year, including a headline performance at BST Hyde Park 2024 in London. Find any remaining tickets (UK/Ireland) here.
Meanwhile, KOL delivered a live rendition of ‘Mustang’ on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this year.
