ashion month and its festivities are always a surreal experience. From the upbeat moods to the sizzling numbers and new trend predictions for the seasons ahead, it’s hard to shake off the impact. Last week, as we witnessed the end of Beyonce’s iconic Renaissance tour, events like the 2033 Culture Con, NYC Ballet, and Paris Fashion Week all kept the spirits up and the outfits giving.
The Looks
It’s safe to say Taraji P. Henson took fashion month seriously. She was spotted countless times rendering her quota to society by steadily dishing out good looks on a platter. Last week, she looked like a leading lady fresh out of a Bond movie in a feather-detailed La Pointe dress at the Paris Fashion Week. The cutout and high-slit sprinkled sass into the high-neck, long-sleeve number – a perfect balance.
Fine exquisite wine is the only appropriate way to sum up Vanessa Williams’ refined look at the NYC ballet gala last week. The guest singer and former Miss America opted for a sleeveless Carolina Herrera number with silver accents studded on the boat neckline. Her center-pard ponytail allowed her eyes its worthy moment of shine. A gracious red carpet look indeed.
It’s not every day Zendaya and Law Roach connect to make magic, but when they do, it’s a perfect fit. The duo were outside for the Paris Fashion Week and did a link-up with Louis Vuitton. The star girl wore a white custom LV dress to the brand’s show at PFW. Featuring a statement zipper in its center, chunky gold buckles, and leather panels, this look is about to make zipper gowns a big deal this season. No doubt, Zendaya and her stylist can do no wrong.
