Ariana Madix claims her and Katie Maloney‘s Something About Her sandwich shop is opening soon — despite a recent delay.

While promoting her new cocktail book, Single AF Cocktails, earlier this week, the Vanderpump Rules star, 38, explained the hold-up as she labeled her publication a “breakup album” and gushed over the support she’s gotten from boyfriend Daniel Wai amid her time on Dancing With the Stars.

“He’s honestly just super, super, super supportive,” Ariana revealed to Extra TV on October 3. “He flies in. He takes care of everything that I need in the two days that he’s here and then he takes a red eye. He’s taking a red eye back to New York tonight to go back to work.”

As for her book, which is expected to hit stores on December 5 and share the behind-the-scenes drama of “Scandoval,” Ariana said she’s excited for people to see it.

“It’s like my breakup album, you know? It’s my ‘Lemonade’ or my ‘Red,’” she explained, giving a nod to her March split from Tom Sandoval, 40, who had a months-long affair with their co-star and friend, Raquel Leviss, 29. “I just think that for me, part of healing through anything is creative self expression and that’s what I really poured into the book.”

The following day, during a Single AF Cocktails virtual signing with Talk Shop Live, via Taste of Reality on Instagram, Ariana shared an update on Something About Her.

“Something About Her will be open soon. I know that there’s a lot of rumors and a lot of talk and a lot of trolling on the internet but I am telling you, we are opening soon,” she vowed. “The inside is so beautiful. [But] we gotta deal with this outside stuff.”

Because the city of West Hollywood forced Ariana and Katie to get rid of their previously constructed patio months ago, the Pump Rules stars were forced to start over on their exterior, getting new permits for everything they hoped to add.

“Now that the entire facade of the building has changed, we have to have it on and completely redone to fit the new facade of the building and in order to do that, you have to a permit for the awning, you have to permit for the sign … It’s a process,” she shared. “It’s a whole, whole situation with all of it. But we’re plugging away. And we will be open soon.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or in early 2024.
