Erika Jayne says that when it comes to the 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her castmates will be seen facing some personal challenges.

As she suspected Kyle Richards‘ role on the show is “eternal” and admitted that Lisa Rinna, 60, played a major role on the show, Erika, 52, teased new music, opened up about her exciting residency in Las Vegas, and commented on the current state of her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, 82.

“I don’t know who visits him, to be perfectly honest, but I do know that when I watched him walk into the courthouse to be indicted, he looked terrible,” Erika told the Los Angeles Times in a video shared to their Instagram page. “The holes in the sweater and just, I think he’s blind in one eye, he just looked really unhealthy and like he’s been through a lot, and that was not the smiling, blue-eyed, crystal-eyed man that I knew.”

According to Erika, she believes Thomas’ decline is the result of aging, sickness, and stress from the legal drama he’s facing due to his alleged crimes against his former clients.

“This is a horrible way to end a really, what once was, a very celebrated law career. To end up here, I’m sure, for him, is horrible. But he would never admit that,” she added.

Meanwhile, in an August 22 interview with Billboard, Erika dished on her Vegas residency.

“The show is based around my six-word mantra, which is how I created Erika Jayne, which was fantasy, love, escape, and then I added glitz, glamour, and fun some years later … So we’ll have my old stuff, new stuff, and we’ll do a clever cover or two just for nostalgia purposes, and it’s gonna be great,” she declared. “I’m super excited to get back out and perform. I had not performed for three years.”

Erika plans to honor her role as Roxie in Chicago during the show.

“We will give a nod to Roxie in our own way, probably you’ll see it via costume and choreography. I don’t know where it’s coming in yet, but we’ve definitely discussed it, and it will be there,” she assured.

And she’s also preparing to release a new music.

“I’ve been in the studio and creating with different people, and it’s fun,” she shared. “Look, I’m a dance music person. That’s what I like to do. That’s what I’ve done. And so, it will be there. It’s not like I’m gonna take a left and do an acoustic set. We’re gonna have a good time. We’re bringing the party, and that’s what these songs are all about.”

Regarding whether or not her co-stars will attend her residency, Erika said, “I don’t know if they’re coming.”

“I’m sure that they will,” she continued. “I know that Lisa Rinna’s bought her ticket, and she’s coming opening night, so that one I can bank on. The rest of them, I know they’ll be there.”

As she and her castmates prepare for the upcoming 13th season, Erika acknowledged that Lisa, who announced her departure in January, “was a massive part of this show” and “one of the best to ever do it.”

“She moved the show in ways that, for those of us who make it, understand exactly Lisa’s critical, important role. [But] everyone’s time comes to an end on Housewives,” she noted, joking, “except maybe Kyle, I mean, she’s just like… eternal.”

Although Erika said she was “good” and “in a better place” amid season 13, mainly due to her upcoming residency, which puts her “in a whole different mind frame,” she couldn’t say the same for her co-stars.

“Everyone else is going through a lot, you know, you see people having the worst time of their lives and their marriages and friendships,” she teased. “I feel good about my season. I feel good about where I’m at in life. [But] other people are going through their own struggles.”

Looking back on the season, Erika said she learned “patience” and that “everything [is] going to be okay.”

“I have spent a lot of time in therapy which, for me, I think was super important,” she noted. “Something like Bet It All on Blonde has always been a dream but it shows up here, now, and I think that is, for me, confirmation that things are moving in the right direction.”

“This is a wonderful, fantastic challenge and a brand new chapter in my life and I feel very hopeful about that,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to being airing on Bravo this fall.
