I’ll do a bigger post with my picks from each category, but let me just say — there are a TON of great things in the sale this year. I’m excited about a bunch of bags and shoes, and there are *so many* blazers and suits. The lingerie isn’t exciting, but all of the old favorites are there — and time over time that’s the number one thing people stock up in the NAS, so definitely check out your size.

My 21 Top Picks from the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Shoes
1 – Heels from Reiss – Reiss has a TON of cute heels in the NAS sale, all with very high heels, including boots, booties, and these lovely heels. They come in black and beige, and have fun mesh cutouts that show quite a bit of toe cleavage. They’ll be $179 in the sale, and $285 after the sale.
2 – Paul Green loafers – Paul Green is a reader favorite for comfort, but they can be really pricey! These loafers come in black and brown, and will be $299 in the sale (afterwards, $429). The brand has a number of cute booties, sneakers, and a very simple pump in the sale also.
7 – Marc Fisher heels – The brand’s Zala heel has been a reader favorite for years; I like the slight differences in the Varla heel in the NAS. This bright dark blue (royal blue? cobalt?) is a hot color this year, along with burgundy, and the heel comes in both, along with a dusty pink and 3 neutrals. The heels will be $89 in the sale, $150 after.
8 – AGL heels – Again, this brand is a reader favorite for comfort. This block heel pointed toe pump comes in black and beige, and I love the mixture of patent and matte leather. These heels will be $290 in the sale, and $415 after.
Blazers in the 2023 NAS
There are so many great blazers!!
3 – Cinq à Sept Khloe Blazer – this tweedy navy is a great basic from the brand. Wear it with black, navy — pretty much any color under the sun. It will be $329 in the sale, and $495 after. (Sizes 00-16).
4 – Treasure & Bond blazer – This brand is seriously underrated for great affordable basics. The cut of this beige jacket looks fabulous — and it also comes in plus sizes. It’ll be $65 in the sale, and $99 after.
5 – L’Agence knit blazer (green) – L’Agence’s sweater jacket and blazer game is super strong this year, you guys. This green knit blazer looks stunning. It’ll be $290 in the sale, and $425 after. The brand also has a houndstooth open front blazer and a deep lavender Chamberlain blazer in the sale, as well as a beige biker’s jacket.
6 – Avec Les Filles blazer (beige) – I think of Avec Les Filles for outdoor jackets more than blazers, but this beige jacket with embroidered trim looks great. It’ll be $135 in the sale, and $200 after.
Lingerie & Other
9 – Natori has a ton of great bras in this year’s sale, as they do always — it’s a great opportunity to get a sale price on bras in your size, in a variety of colors, many with matching panties.
10 – Diptyque candles – these are always one of the first things to go in the NAS! If you like candles, definitely put these on your wish list. This 4-piece set has a $168 value, but will be $118 in the sale.
11 – Siren ring from Monica Vinader – I love pretty much all of Vinader’s stuff, but this simple ring seems perfect. (Fun note to take with a grain of salt: I’ve always read that rose quartz is supposed to attract love to you.) The ring will be $149 in the sale, and $25 after.
12 – Creuset dutch oven – OK, this one isn’t workwear, but I don’t remember seeing Le Creuset in the NAS before, and certainly not in the range of colors — and a 4.5 quart size is a great one. It will be $239 in the sale, and $375 after; it’s available in 8 colors (!!).
19 – Vinader diamond earrings – Pretty sure I bought these full price a few months ago… they’re the perfect everyday earrings in size and bling, I think, at least if you’re the kind of person who wears diamond dangle earrings every day. The earrings will be $259-$279, and $395-$425 after the sale; they come in white gold, rose gold, and yellow gold versions.
Pants
13 – Vince pants – Brown is a huge color in the NAS this year, and these cotton blend cigarette pants seem like the perfect color because they’re distinctly brown, so you can wear them with black without worrying people think you got dressed in the dark. These pants are $229 in the sale, and will be $345 after. (There are a TON of brown pants in every cut, size, and shade though!)
14 – AllSaints pants – I always love a good pintuck detail, and these high-waisted pull-on wide leg trousers from AllSaints look like the unicorn in pants: comfortable but polished and on trend. They’ll be $180 in the NAS, but will go back up to $269 after the sale.
15 – Avec Les Filles pants – These come with a matching blazer, and I like the suit in its entirety, but I particularly think these pinstriped pants in a charcoal/red pinstripe are cool. They’re $99 during the sale, but will go back to $150 after the sale. (Not pictured, but the pants that match the Reiss blazer are also awesome on their own, and are sure to go quickly.)
Women’s Suits in the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
16 – Reiss navy suit – I haven’t seen a great neutral suit like this in the NAS, from a big brand like Reiss, for a while now. The blazer is $329 (will go back to $545 after the sale), and the pants are $198, but will go back to $330.
17 – Halogen contrast suit – I can’t decide if I like the black/white version of this suit better, or the gray houndstooth/black contrast version better! Halogen looks to have hit it out of the park with this one — the blazer will be $106 in the sale, and it’ll go back to $159 after the sale. The houndstooth is available in regular and plus, while the black version comes up to size XXL. (Interestingly the houndstooth version definitely has matching pants, skirt, and dresses, but the black version is primarily shown as a separate – but the brand has a ton of clothes in the matching “Rich Black” color.
18 – Boss suit – I like these deep “court green” color from Boss, and they offer matching pieces in both a “sustainable blend” suiting fabric and leather, including trousers, a skirt, a double-breasted blazer, a leather motor jacket, and a houndstooth crop jacket. (Plus an awesome square-neck jersey top for $89.) The suiting pieces are $199-$419, including the leather, and after the sale will go back to $298-$695.
Great Work Bags in the 2023 NAS
20 – Red tote – AllSaints has a few bags in the sale, and this Allington tote is one of my favorites – I think the “winter orchid red” is a great color, but the bag is also available in a more neutral beige and black. The bag is 13.5 x 11 x 6.5 inches in dimensions, and has a removable zip pouch – perfect for that lunch run. The bag will be $199 in the NAS, but will go back to $299 after the sale. (If you’re hunting for a more purpley tote, Cole Haan has a lovely tote in the sale also, available in a reddish purple and a teal (not pictured).)
21 – Blue tote with rainbow-stripe strap – Madewell always has a Transport tote in the NAS, and I LOVE this blue tote with a multi-colored strap. (The tote, in general, is one of the reader favorites for a casual office!) The tote will be $125 in the NAS, and it’ll go back to $188 after the sale. (It also comes in a beige/pink version.)
