The Steam Deck only comes with an anti-glare screen if you buy the 512GB model, but JSAUX is fixing that for 64GB and 256GB model owners.

The company just finished releasing its transparent front plate to match the transparent back plate it launched. Allowing Steam Deck owners to give their unit a fully transparent shell just like the days of the N64. The company has also now announced that it’ll be releasing an anti-glare screen. The goal here being to give owners of the mid-tier and low-end model the same playability under bright light. Whether that be outside or just somewhere with really bright overhead lights.

The company hasn’t released a ton of detail about the replacement accessory yet, but does note that it’s on the way. JSAUX also states that it aims to reduce the original screen’s glare while giving players a better experience with crystal clear visuals and sharper graphics.

JSAUX will launch the anti-glare screen for Steam Deck in July

JSAUX Anti Glare Screen for Steam Deck

Soon, dear Steam Deck owner, you’ll be able to replace the original screen with a nice, new, anti-glare screen so you can rub elbows with the 512GB owners. But you’ll need to wait a little bit longer to reap the benefits they’ve been enjoying for the past year.

JSAUX says the anti-glare screen is coming out in July. So it’s not quite ready for purchase. The company says it’ll be available later in July but doesn’t mention a specific date. It does however mention the price. If you want to swap out you non-anti-glare screen for the anti-glare model, it’ll cost $89.99. Not too bad considering the price difference of the 512GB model Steam Deck compared to the other two. Of course you’ll also want to know how to replace the screen, or have someone who can do it for you.

JSAUX has become one of the most popular Steam Deck accessory brands. And that’s all thanks to its decision to basically become a bespoke brand for the Steam Deck. They sell more than just Steam Deck accessories of course. But since the release of Valve’s handheld gaming PC last year JSAUX has steadily moved into offering more and more accessories for it. To the point where it seems like the majority of its products are for the handheld.
