Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas‘ marriage is allegedly “in trouble,” and the honeymoon is said to be “already over” less than one year after their over-the-top wedding at the Park Chateau Estate in New Jersey.

As they near their one-year anniversary, an insider claims the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars’ relationship is on the rocks, which should come as no surprise to Teresa’s co-stars, who have expressed their concerns about Luis and his troubled past since their relationship began in 2020.

“Their concern was that Louie had a shady past and saw Teresa as his meal ticket,” an insider explained in the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, noting that “red flags” have begun to “surface.”

“They were worried for Teresa,” the source added.

As RHONJ fans have surely heard, Luis has been labeled as a sex-obsessed cheater and reportedly has a history plagued by bankruptcy filing and a number of lawsuits, including one for allegedly harassing his former customers. And now that he’s on the show, he’s reportedly suffering from an inflated ego.

“His ego has blown up, and his true colors are starting to show. You can see it on RHONJ, he wants to take over the narrative of the series. Luis knows he hit the jackpot, and he’s ready to cash in,” the insider claimed. “Teresa doesn’t want to admit it, but she sees some red flags.”

And he’s allegedly not too nice to his wife either.

“Privately, Luis has called Teresa ‘not that bright‘ to friends. There’s also buzz circulating that he has a third child out there that he hasn’t told Teresa about!” the insider alleged.

Still, according to Teresa’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., none of the allegations are true, and “[Teresa’s] never been happier.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to go into production following a pause in which producers prepare to assemble the new season’s cast.
