Margaret Josephs claims one of Luis Ruelas‘ sisters was “not nice” to her at Teresa Giudice‘s bridal shower.
While also calling out Teresa for leaving sister-in-law Melissa Gorga out of her speech at the event on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Margaret admitted Luis’ sister “hated” her as Teresa gushed over the “great relationship” she has with her new family members.
“I didn’t think I was gonna have a bridal shower because I have everything so I was like, ‘I don’t need a bridal shower,’” Teresa revealed on the May 2 episode of the RHONJ: After Show. “It was nice. It was so nice.”
“I thought it was a really awesome party,” Danielle Cabral added, saying she “had a great time” and was “100 percent blown away” by Luis’ sisters.
“Luis’ sisters were amazing,” Jennifer Aydin agreed.
According to Jennifer, she felt that Melissa, despite being the wife of Teresa’s only sibling, Joe Gorga, looked like a mere “guest,” not family, at the shower.
“I was definitely a guest. And that’s fine,” Melissa reasoned. “I want her to be happy. I know she’s been waiting on this for a long time so good for her.”
While Melissa was happy to celebrate Teresa’s shower, Margaret couldn’t help but notice how Teresa again left her out of her speech about family.
“Teresa made a speech [about] all her sister-in-laws, minus Melissa. She didn’t say ‘minus Melissa’ but she didn’t mention Melissa. She mentioned her new sisters-in-law and her family. The problem is because she mentioned them, it’s glaring she doesn’t mention Melissa,” she noted.
Margaret went on to say that when it came to Teresa’s shower, she had a tense encounter with Luis’ sister, Jennifer Ruelas.
“Luis’ one sister was not nice to me at all, not [Dr. Veronica Ruelas], the other sister [Jen]. She hated me, but that’s okay,” Margaret revealed, adding that she apologized to Luis’ mother.
“I went over to Luis’ mother, I said, ‘Listen, I know it’s very hard to watch.’ And I meant that. I know it’s hard for her to watch,” she admitted.
During her own RHONJ: After Show segment, Teresa spoke about her love for Luis’ sisters, sharing that she met Jen years ago at one of her book signings.
“We have a great relationship. I mean, Jennifer knew me from watching the show. She came to one of my book signings a long time ago so when Luis met me he called Jennifer because he’s closest to Jennifer and he said, ‘Guess who I met? Teresa Giudice.’ And then when Jennifer said, ‘What?’ And she’s like, ‘If you need to be with the girl, she’s the girl to be with,’” Teresa explained. “And then, when I met Veronica, the family came up to me. They’re like, ‘You don’t understand. Veronica loves you, and she does not love anyone.’ So when I heard that, that made me happy.”
