Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Fessler reflected on their beer fight in Ireland after the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
After the fun moment turned sour, the ladies sat down with their castmates, including Margaret Josephs, to discuss the events of the episode as Jennifer also responded to a question about why she was staying with her husband, Jeff Fessler, amid their separation.
“We never really wanted to get divorced. We just couldn’t get there,” Jennifer explained on the April 18 episode of the RHONJ: After Show.
As Jennifer struggled within her marriage, co-star Teresa was preparing for her marriage to now-husband Luis Ruelas with a bachelorette getaway to the homeland of Dolores Catania‘s boyfriend, Paul Connell. And, while many cast members have described the trip as their favorite as a cast, there was some tension between Jennifer and Teresa, especially after Teresa dumped her drink on Jennifer following a beer-chugging competition.
“I was having fun with her cuz she was already wet. She had all beer all over her,” Teresa explained her decision.
But the tables turned when Jennifer reacted with a drink toss of her own.
“Teresa threw water at me as a joke. We weren’t in, like, combat mode. And I threw beer at her, and she was pissed,” Jennifer recalled. “And I didn’t throw beer at her. It wasn’t like I poured a big glass. But she had a fresh blowout. It was a blowout situation.”
“She just pours it back on me, and it’s like, ‘Okay, b-tch,’” Teresa said.
As soon as she saw the encounter, Margaret knew things were going “south” amongst the group.
“I was like, ‘Oh God. It’s gonna go south on the bachelorette weekend,’” Margaret shared. “I was like, ‘Oh my God. It’s gonna ruin her weekly blowout’ cuz her hair has to look good the entire time we’re in Ireland cuz these b-tches don’t watch their hair.”
And she was exactly right. Teresa was upset with Jennifer for ruining her hair.
“My hair was blown out. No. That really pissed me off … She’s lucky I am getting married,” Teresa stated.
Still, while looking back at the incident, Jennifer felt it was a great time.
“That was totally fun. We were trashed,” she concluded.
