A Kansas man has been discovered responsible of brutally killing his ex-girlfriend with an axe almost two years in the past, RadarOnline.com has realized.
A jury convicted John Okay. Ewing, 62, on fees of first- and second-degree homicide, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated housebreaking, felony menace, and interference with legislation enforcement, Entrance Web page Detectives beforehand reported.
In response to an affidavit obtained by the station WIBW, safety cameras captured footage of Ewing entering into an altercation with Deborah Stephens exterior a house within the Coachlight South cell house park in Topeka on the morning of April 27, 2021.
The affidavit said the video confirmed Stephens was at her car and leaning into the motive force’s facet door when Ewing walked up behind her.
Stephens, seemingly unaware she was in peril, “has no response till Mr. Ewing is behind her and grabs her concerning the head and neck space, inflicting Ms. Stephens to scream out,” the affidavit said.
