Eve Hewson has stated she turned down recommendation from her dad and U2 frontman Bono for singing scenes in Flora And Son.

The actor performs the lead position within the musical comedy-drama movie, written and directed by John Carney. Set in Dublin, the movie follows single mom Flora (Hewson) as she makes an attempt to attach together with her troubled teenage son Max (Orén Kinlan) by way of music.

Flora’s introduction to singing and songwriting is helped alongside by LA-based on-line guitar instructor Jeff (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who helps gas her confidence.

Chatting with Variety concerning the singing scenes, Hewson stated: “It was in all probability my largest concern I’ve ever had, and it ended up being one thing I’m actually happy with.”
